Terms of sale and use

These terms govern purchases and use of novel pdf studio ("the software"), sold by Novel Digital India Solutions Private Limited, Chennai ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the software you accept them. Last updated: 25 August 2026.

1. The product

novel pdf studio is a desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is sold as an annual subscription: each licence is valid for one year from issue and may be activated on up to 2 computers at a time. A free 7-day trial with full features is available before purchase.

2. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees; the exact amount payable is always shown before payment. If and when we are registered under GST, GST at the applicable rate is added at checkout and a tax invoice issued. Payments are processed by Razorpay — we never receive or store card, UPI or netbanking credentials. An invoice is issued for every purchase and emailed to the buyer.

3. Delivery

Delivery is electronic and immediate: the licence key is shown on the payment success page and emailed with the invoice, and installers are available on the same page and from the customer portal at any time.

4. Licence

Use of the software is governed by the End-User Licence Agreement. In short: one subscription, two computers, no redistribution or resale of keys, no reverse engineering. Seats can be moved between computers from the customer portal.

5. Renewal and expiry

The subscription does not auto-renew and we never charge you automatically. Near expiry the app reminds you; renewal is a fresh purchase, with a discount code available to existing customers in the customer portal. After expiry the app continues to open and view documents, but saving, signing and exporting are locked until renewal.

7. Fair use and revocation

We may revoke licences obtained fraudulently (including chargeback abuse and key resale). Licence status is verified periodically when the computer is online; the software otherwise works offline.

8. Liability

The software is provided with reasonable skill and care but without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
