End-user licence agreement

The licence, in plain words.

This agreement is between you and Novel Digital India Solutions Private Limited for the novel pdf studio desktop application. Installing or using the software means you accept it. Last updated: 25 August 2026.

1. What you get

A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on up to 2 computers for the duration of your subscription (one year from issue, or the period stated on your key). The free trial grants the same rights for 7 days on one computer.

2. What you may not do

• Share, resell, rent or publish your licence key.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, or circumvent its licensing.
• Use one licence across more computers than its seat count by technical workarounds.

3. Your documents and signatures

Documents you process belong to you and stay on your computer. You are responsible for how you use digital signatures, for the validity of your DSC, and for compliance with the IT Act, 2000 and the rules of the portals you file with.

4. Updates

Your subscription includes all updates released during its term. Versions you installed keep working for the term even if you skip updates.

5. Termination

The licence ends when the subscription expires (the app then locks saving/signing until renewal) or immediately if these terms are materially breached — key resale and licence tampering in particular.

6. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law; our liability is limited as set out in the terms & conditions.
